Orca Patterns

                           Orca Patterns
Today our group was searching if all orca patterns were all different or not. We learned that orca patterns are dependent on the age, species, and gender. There is also a white patch (called a saddle patch) behind their dorsal fin, which is unique to every orca. Female orcas live longer then the males (females 50-80, males 35-60). Baby orcas or calfs have more orange/yellow on there patterns then adult whales.  :-)
